The UK's biggest indie games festival is back this August in Dundee’s Caird Hall and City Square.

Last year saw 10,000 people – from toddlers to grandparents – enjoy new games created by students and leading games companies. Due to the huge demand, this year’s event has added an extra, fourth day.
Dare ProtoPlay marks the end of Abertay University’s game design competition Dare to be Digital, with the student game creators battling for the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award. The event is sponsored by Creative Scotland, Dundee City Council and EventScotland.
